Lisa B. Santos had what a defense attorney needs to earn a client’s trust. She holds memberships across Colorado’s criminal defense and county bar associations, has a 5.0 Google rating, runs a dedicated Spanish-language line, and has clients who credit her with dismissals and acquittals. Her WordPress site hid most of that. It opened with a generic Welcome to the Law Office headline, listed charges in one long flat list, repeated content blocks, and used a homepage title tag with no search terms in it. Neither visitors nor Google got a clear reason to choose her.
People land on a defense attorney’s website at one of the hardest moments of their lives, usually on a phone and often right after an arrest or a DUI stop. The challenge was to build a site that feels calm and credible within seconds, shows clearly that she handles their charge, and makes calling the obvious next step. It also had to keep the search visibility the old site had built over the years.
Before touching the design, we mapped how someone facing a charge actually uses a defense attorney’s site. They look for their specific charge, look for proof the attorney gets results, and want to know how quickly they can speak to someone. The old site made them dig for all three. The strategy was simple: put the consultation and phone number first, organize charges so people find theirs fast, and move everything to Framer without losing what the WordPress site had earned in search.
The design had to feel steady and serious. Someone facing charges is looking for signs of competence and a clear next step, and a flashy website works against both. We built a calmer, editorial design system in Framer with strong typography, purposeful imagery and a homepage that states the position in four words: Serious Charges. Strategic Defense.
The new site is built to show where consultations come from, so the firm can see which charges people search for, which pages lead to calls, and how Spanish-speaking clients find them.
What I appreciated most was that they didn’t jump straight into solutions. They asked the right questions, listened carefully, and took the time to understand what we were trying to achieve. The process felt collaborative from start to finish, and the outcome reflected that.

What impressed us most was their ability to combine strategy, website development, and SEO into a single approach. The improvements didn’t just make the website better, they made the business easier to find and easier to trust.
Kristin Tomasello
Cheif Executive Officer
The project was handled with a level of care and attention to detail that is hard to find. Every recommendation felt thoughtful, practical, and aligned with our business goals.
Alex Jordan
Managing Director
We initially reached out for help with our website, but the conversations quickly became much bigger than that. They took the time to understand the business, pointed out things we had overlooked, and helped us make better decisions along the way. The final result felt more aligned with where we wanted the business to go.
